EVOLUTION Pressure transmitter family

The EVOLUTION product family is Endress+Hauser's latest generation of innovative industrial pressure transmitters. The EVOLUTION product family includes the Cerabar S (gauge and absolute) and Deltabar S (differential) product groups.

Modular design - alternative to "throwaway” designs.

EVOLUTION pressure transmitters are designed and built with modular components, including electronics, terminal block, display, housing and sensor/process connection.  Any one of these component can be replaced within minutes.  Each component works interchangeably with every pressure transmitter in the EVOLUTION portfolio.  For example, one electronics board (per communication protocol, ex. HART) will work with every EVOLUTION product, regardless of the housing or sensor/process connection.  This new design concept from E+H greatly reduces maintenance costs and spare parts.  Now you can repair your pressure transmitter or replace it with a new one.  The choice is yours.

 

Best fit operator interface - reduces complexity

EVOLUTION pressure transmitters feature external push-buttons for safe and easy access to all configuration parameters, eliminating the need for handheld communicators and hot work permits.  The Histo-ROM memory chip stores process variable data and transmitter configuration locally for extra process security and can even be used to transfer the configuration from one transmitter to another within minutes.  The external push-buttons and the Histo-ROM memory chip are innovations from E+H which reduce maintenance time and increase safety.  Now you can configure your pressure transmitter with or without a handheld communicator.  

 

Metal or Ceramic diaphragms - your choice

EVOLUTION pressure transmitters are available with either ceramic or metal diaphragms.  Our metal diaphragms are available in a wide variety of process connections and sensor ranges.  Our unique ceramic sensor, Ceraphire®, is explosion-proof and provides superior resistance to corrosion, abrasion and hydrogen diffusion.  Our ceramic sensor also provides unsurpassed performance in high-temperature vacuum applications.  Now you can choose the diaphragm material which best fits your application.
