Mass balance Desalination

In order to fulfill governmental, environmental and economical requirement to validate efficiencies and losses of individual units conventional measurement of e.g volume need to be converted to mass flow. The Coriolis type Promass, available from 1mm to 250 mm records directly mass flows in t/hrs for gas and liquid flow and has the official approval for custody transfer measurement.

This TDR type guided radar from Endress+Hauser is very user fri-endly and requires no hot work to replace a conventional displacer.The antenna length of the rod can be adjusted as required, if not ordered to length, and the transmitter can detect its own probe length. For the ESD system the limit switch Liquiphant with almost 2,000,000 installed base and a SIL 2/3 TUV certification is the most reliable choice for you. The ceramic pressure sensor Cerabar is the most reliable pressure measurement in vacuum.

 Desulphurisation Blending

Endress+Hauser has accumulated over many years special tempe-rature engineering expertise. Proven in use in many applications around the world the Multipoint temperature assembly contains

e.g. 50 individual thermo couples mounted in an individual nozzle. Your vessel requires only a minimum of nozzles and openings, providing enough temperature measuring points for redundancy.

With the use of the Endress+Hauser Octopus the multiple thermo couples can be even retreated and changed during vessel operation, avoiding an unplanned shut down.

The fast action and response time of less than

50 msec of the coriolis Promass allows on-line blending of lub oil. Combined with a batch controller the integrated function chip monitors accurately

the blending process. The single tube coriolis Promass I additio-nally to massflow, density and temperature measures the dynamic viscosity providing an on-line quality control output of the lub oil viscosity.

Regardless whether in a lock hopper, disengaging hopper, reactor reduction zone or surge hopper all applications require a non intrusive measurement. With the development of the first conti-nuous

radiometric level measurement - sensor length of up to 2m -Endress+Hauser pioneered a solution for the toughest applications.Today our radiometric devices measure limit, level, interface and density and are standard in many licensed processes.

Also in a coke drum the continuous radiometric level measurement provides a huge potential to optimize the process by visualization the coke and foam level. Defoaming agents are being added as required. A SIL2 certified radiometric level switch allows optimum utilization of the coke drum height.
