Aqualande, France, is a leading player in the European aquaculture business. Aqualande’s breed basins had to be set up as a recirculating aquaculture system due to a legal amendment. A certain water quality is required to assure a healthy and efficient fish breeding. Robust sensors combined with digital services are forming a smart monitoring solution. It helps keeping the breeding conditions at an optimum level.

Customer challenge

The water quality in Aqualande’s breed basins is very sensitive because the recirculated water is filtered through drum filters and degassing columns. To ensure a good growth of the trout, Aqualande decided to launch a continuous monitoring of the exact water quality.

Our solution

Endress+Hauser provided Aqualande with a solution containing high-end instruments and a data monitoring interface. The measured values are accessible anywhere and anytime (via smartphone or PC).
